Hi I'm Camilo

I am a Chilean born, American raised wrestling and football loving Mormon!

About Me

I was born is Santiago, Chile in 1990. I lived there only till i was two, then we moved to Paterson, New jersey but not before my mom and dad were baptized in Santiago, Chile. Paterson was a hard place to raise a family and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was small there. My mom and dad had so much faith in the Lord and knew that we would have a better chance here in the states. They left behind family and friends and a nice house with a good job so that their children can have a better, safer life. Im so very thankful for my mom and dad. I know i was a pain to raise, but i know they love me. When i was six my older brother was hit by a car. I saw the whole thing and i thought he was dead and that was the last time i'll ever see him. He was in the hospital for a long time. I remember praying to my Heavenly Father to please help my brother. At the age of six, i didn't really know how to pray. I would always just say the same things. It was the faith i had that made me want to pray. If it was not for the choose of my parents to join a church or faith, i would have not even thought to pray for help. My brother made it and was able to serve a full time mission 12 years later. Im now on a mission in Idaho. Its the "Idaho Pocatello Mission" and im here to serve the Lord and teach people what i know to be true. Being able to serve others and lose myself in the work has been such a blessing! I love Wrestling! I also love Football. Sports is a big part of who i am.

Why I am a Mormon

Im a Mormon because i came to know that my Father in heaven loves and knows and me and that His son Jesus Christ died for us so we can return to Him. I've read the Book Of Mormon and prayed about it. The way i feel when i read is a feeling that i've tried to explain but could not find words. Its just a deep good feeling. A feeling of peace. The gospel has always been there for me in my life. When times are hard, i know that i can pray to God and ask for help. Im so greatful for a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson. The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day is the Lord true church. I believe that with all my heart!

How I live my faith

Im a missionary in Idaho. I live my faith by preaching the gospel just like Jesus did. Im here to serve other. To help people find peace in their lives. Im here to do the Lords work.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Camilo
You can read the Book Of Mormon. Think deeply of what you read, then ask God in prayer if the Book is True. If it is then that Church is true. The Book Of Mormon is the keystone of what we believe. Show more Show less
