Hi I'm Enoch

I grew up around Detroit. I'm a physics student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a collage student, studying physics. Starting in September, 2014 I will be in graduate school at the University of Utah. I spent two years serving a mission in southeast Idaho and did a year of college before my mission, studying physics. I love to read, especially science fiction, but any good story can catch my interest, especially if it involves big things--big spaceships, big airships, big mechas, etc. I enjoy making use of my imagination, which has lead me to start writing a book and really enjoy tabletop games and writing poetry. I also enjoy all sorts of games of military strategy, as well as studying historical wars and battles.

Why I am a Mormon

There came a point in my life where I had to decide what course to take, I could either go on a mission or I could go back to college and have "fun." There was great allure to taking the easy way out and going with the most sparkly route. Then I read a verse in the Book of Mormon, Ether 12:27. This verse struck me to my soul, and I knew I needed to humble myself before God in prayer. As I did so I received strength to do what was right. Now I have served a mission and the joy I feel is much greater than any fleeting fascination the ways of the world could have offered.

How I live my faith

I just finished two years of spending all my time trying to share the gospel and serve the people of south-east Idaho.
