Hi I'm Ron

I grew up in New Zealand and believe in life after death. Im a Mormon

About Me

I was very young when my family joined the Church and was raised a mormon, but i didnt know for myself that it was true until i was reading a statement from a Church Prophet named David OMckay who said " This life here on earth is a small slither of time. LIFE is ETERNAL. During this time i had been a less active member and was not currently attending church.. a family member was also experiencing the loss of a loved one. As i thought about these events in my life and after reading these words the realisation came to me that what i had read was true... it hit me with a force that lead me to start reinvestigating the religion that my parents have loved and devoted most of their lives to. As i studied the life of Jesus Christ i became converted for the first time in my 27 years. The Holy Ghost confirmed to me that there was a life to come. I knew then that God had called prophets and that the church was true. That gave me a purpose for life as I knew that the choices we make daily really mattered, and that I could be with my family again. I am now married and we have 7 great kids whom we love very much and mean everything to us.We are the happiest family as we keep Gods commandments and try to make choices that are pleasing to our Heavenly Father. We know he loves us .

Why I am a Mormon

Because i love my family very much. They are the most important thing in my life and i enjoy the many great resources that the church offers us.The scriptures has given me a better understanding of my role as a husband and a father and the key to a happy home.

How I live my faith

I am a return missionary and go out with full time missionaries in our community one day a week. I believe the best place to live the gospel is within the four walls of your own home... with those close to you. I also have responsibilities as a member of the Branch Presidency and to visit with other members in their homes and at church each week. Our family love to sing and we often visit a nearby hospital to sing and visit with the elderly.
