Hi I'm Liz

I love the outdoors. I have an MBA and three kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married with two little girls and a baby boy My husband is a high school chemistry teacher and I am a stay at home mom. Before my daughters were born I finished an MBA and worked as a product manager. My passions include reading good books and being outdoors. During the winter I snowshoe and during the summer I camp and hike with my family. I love visiting national parks, one of my favorites is Glacier National Park in Montana.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, my parents are members, so I was raised learning about the gospel and Jesus Christ. Since my childhood I have come to find out for myself that Jesus Christ is our Savior. I have had many wonderful spiritual experiences in which the spirit has confirmed that what I learned in my early years is of God. God answers prayers, and He has answered mine many times. I know that God calls prophets, that Joseph Smith was called as a prophet in 1820 and that Thomas S. Monson is our living prophet today. Having a living prophet speak for God and teach of Christ in this day in age when life can get so confusing has been such a blessing in my life.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday with my family and currently teach an adult Sunday School class. I love teaching the gospel and helping the members understand the scriptures. Last year we studied the Old Testament and this year we are beginning the New Testament. My kids attend their own classes with kids their age and have wonderful teachers. My husband is currently a counselor to our bishop and loves having the opportunity to serve the people in our neighborhood.
