Hi I'm Amber

I am a child of God, I believe in Jesus Christ, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Utah. I have known my husband since grade school. I didn't think I would marry my prom date, but I am so glad I said "yes" to the dance and to marriage. We have two beautiful children who challenge and bless me everyday. My little family is my highest priority and biggest joy in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and was baptized at 8 years old. As a teenager I realized I was the happiest when I followed the gospel principles, and really developed my faith and testimony of the Savior and His gospel. I live everyday grateful for my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the blessings I receive from a loving Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I have many opportunities to serve people around me; whether they are members in my ward, neighbors, friends, family, or strangers. My current ward calling is to teach, love, and serve the primary children: ages 18 months to 11 years old. I treasure this responsibility and feel uplifted when I am around their christ-like example of faith, obedience, and love. I often think of the following passage from the Bible: “Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 18:3). We are all children of God. Motherhood is hard. I find myself somedays wanting to cry along with my young children. Motherhood is also rewarding. The unconditional love I feel for them helps me understand the love Heavenly Father has for me and all of his children. My faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ directs my thoughts, actions, and energies to bettering myself and those that I am around on a daily basis. I am grateful and indebted to a loving Savior who paid the price for my sins so that I can learn, grow, and progress in this life; and one day return to Heavenly Father again with my eternal family. I pray to my Father in Heaven for guidance, strength, and comfort; and thank Him for the inspiration, love and blessings I receive each day. I know He hears and answers prayers.
