Hi I'm Omai

I have a beautiful wife and daughter and I enjoy meeting new people.

About Me

I married an amazing woman and we have a wonderful daughter. My family has brought me great joy and I enjoy spending quality time with them. I have many interests such as sports, reading, movies, the outdoors, and spending time with quality friends. I am grateful for the many blessings my Heavenly Father has given me. I look forward to the challenges that life brings.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and I want to follow Him. I have found that through scripture study, prayer, attending church, and doing good unto others, I can learn more of Him and I can become like Him. The Gospel of Jesus Christ brings me great joy and I cherish those opportunities I have to share it with others.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good example to others and am priviledged to work with the young men at church between the ages of 12 and 18. Although I am designated to be their leader and advisor, I find strength in their willingness to serve others, in showing kindness to those less fortunate, and in being an example to all. Through my association with them, I feel a greater conviction in the truths that I teach, and an absolute desire to live righteously. I love being a member of the church.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

We follow the example of the Lord Jesus Christ who taught us to love one another and who Himself "came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many." (Matthew 20:28) When the Savior gave the parable of the Good Samaritan, he bade the lawyer with whom he spoke, to "go, and do thou likewise." (Luke 10:37) Like the Good Samaritan, Mormons seek opportunities to help others regardless of economic status, ethnicity, or religious denomination. The LDS Church provides relief to millions across the world through its Welfare Services. Show more Show less
