Hi I'm Chris

I am a husband, father, and a contractor. I love camping, hiking, and being a grandpa, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the proud father of 3 daughters and 1 son, grandfather of 3 boys and 3 girls, and married to the love of my life. I am blessed to live in the pines where I am able to do many of the things I love. I enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting, backpacking, camping, dutch oven cooking, barbequing, etc. I learned Spanish while serving a church mission in Chile, South America, and enjoy the occasional opportunity to speak it.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church my whole life. I learned about Jesus Christ and His atoning love for me in my early Sunday School lessons. My testimony of The Savior and his gospel increased as I attended seminary and Priesthood classes until I had the chance to serve a full-time mission. I saw many miracles on my mission. I saw lives change for the better as new members of the Church read and applied the principles found in the Book of Mormon and turned their lives over to The Savior. Since coming home from my mission I have felt my Savior's love and guiding hand in my life as I found my eternal sweetheart and was able to marry her for time and all eternity in the sacred Temple. The blessings that I receive daily, and the knowledge of a loving Father in Heaven are some of the reasons that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love serving in the Church. As I serve others I feel the spirit. As I study the scriptures I feel the spirit. I feel close to the Savior as I learn eternal principals and apply them in my life.
