Hi I'm Heath

I'm a high school student and love the gospel

About Me

Football is my life and i love it! Becoming an eagle scout was a goal that i have always had in my life and accomplishing it finally was a huge achievement in my life. Living in a big city, many people have asked me if it hard with living so close to sin. It isn't that hard, just how you cope with living there is what is hard. Once you realize that sin is all around you, you can better protect yourself from it and build shields through the gospel that makes it easier to resist and avoid temptation and sin.

Why I am a Mormon

Having been in this chruch my whole life, may make you think that i just follow it because it is what i have ever known and the only thing i have known. People may say that i am brain washed into believing what it teaches, when that is the complete opposite of it. I have developed my own knowledge by living the gospel and feeling a feeling that is so unique that I have never felt any other place then when i am doing the things that the church has taught me. Through Jesus's atonement for our sins, I have come to understand that our reason for being on the earth is to be "tested" and like in all test we will get wrong answers and struggle on certain questions. But through the Gospel and Christ's atonement the "test" is curved and everyone is able to receive an "A". However, the only way to recieve the "A", is to ask our Savior for the "A" through repentance. The "A" will be given to everyone who asks for it. This church is true and I know that with a surety.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through being a good example and staying morally clean by following the standards of the church. Through trials and hardships, we can be molded and shapped eventually developing a unique shape that will be recognized and known. This shape is what people recognize as mormons being different and unique.
