Hi I'm Brianne

I am a wife, a teacher, a musician, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Even though I am young, I feel I have already been living my life to the fullest: I recently got married and I love the small and simple moments I get with my husband. I am also an orchestra teacher teaching inner city students. I am passionate about my job and I love that I am able to spread my love of music to other people. I love to laugh, have fun, and be with the people I care the most about.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because being a Mormon helps me become the person I want to become: -It encourages me to discover knowledge for myself - It teaches me that I can have hope when I feel despair - It reminds me that I am not alone. - It teaches me the value and meaning of prayer in my life -It encourages me to learn more and to never settle with where I am at. - It helps me recognize the Holy Spirit - It teaches me who I am and where I am going

How I live my faith

In my church, I am a youth leader. I am in charge of the girl's organization of the youth program, called young women's. Even though I oftentimes don't always feel adequate enough for this calling, I begin to see what I need to do through turning to my Savior and trying to understand his will. My faith also grows from these young women because they are full of faith and they help me to see things in a way I would have never seen before.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Brianne
It would be a tragedy if we had a God who would not accept us after we died because we did not have the opportunity to "receive his word." Because we have such a loving, and merciful God, he has provided those people who never "received his word," to have that chance after they die and to become baptized into the gospel. The Lord loves us and will not abandon us. He will provide us with opportunities to become closer to him if we will listen and follow him. His love and mercy does not just stop at death.
