Hi I'm April

I am a singer, musician, home-schooling stay at home mom of 6, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hi, I am Stay at home, Homeschooling Mother of 6 beautiful Children. I Love Music and enjoy singing, and composing music on the piano. I have recently started learning other instruments such as the hammer dulcimer, and harp. I would like to one day learn the violin as well. I enjoy scrap booking, rubber stamping/card making with my children, taking walks with my family, outdoors, and exercising. I Also really enjoy doing family history, and learning about my heritage.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all of my life. I Love the Gospel, the peace and comfort it brings to my life. What keeps me going each day, is the knowledge that the Savior is real. He loves me, and that this Gospel is true. I have prayed several times in my life to know for sure if it is true when I have been faced with opposing influences telling me otherwise. Each time I have always found the answer YES the Church IS true. It is all around us.. In nature, the world around us, Science, the Bible, and the Book of Mormon truly testify of Him, and prove in so many ways that YES, it is true! I know it with all my heart. He has answered my prayers so many times, and been there for me. Even when I have felt at times, that I didn't deserve the help, He has always helped me, and comforted me.

How I live my faith

I enjoy the Gospel and what it teaches me. I enjoy serving others, whether it be through those I visit and teach, or friends . In being a visiting teacher I have not only taught these women gospel truths, but I have also made dear friends through this. In helping others, it helps me to also forget my own trials in life. We lose Ourselves in the service of God and of others, and this promise, has truly manifested this for me.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Those drinks are bad for our body. Our body is like a Temple of the Lord. What we put in it, needs to be pure, and clean and good for our bodies. Coffee ,tea, and alcohol only harms the body. Show more Show less
