Hi I'm Harrison Beck

I'm from Seattle, WA. I love the out door's. I'm football player. Want to be an Aviation Engineer. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy many thing's some including movies, games, food, and sleep. Yes I'm a teenage boy, but the most important thing to me is family. I'm 20 years old youngest of 4 older siblings. I loved High School sport teams learning power of unity. As a center on my high school football team I lead my friends through thick and thin on the field. Off the field we had very different lives. Their normal weekend consisted to parties and drugs. For me doing things with my Mom and Dad weather we played card games, read books, or worked on daily life challenges together is what brought me happiness. I love my Family! No drugs or girl will ever be of a greater worth then my family. As of now, after graduating High school instead of heading off to school. I'm preparing to serve a full time Mission for the LDS faith. You ask why? Read "Why I'm a Mormon".

Why I am a Mormon

Why I have committed myself in the LDS faith. I've had confirmation through Godly inspiration that contritely brings peace and hope to my life. By proper study and by praying to God or (Heavenly Father) I've felt and still feel his love for me and you. One Day found me reading in Alma 32 (in The Book of Mormon) I read about how faith is like a seed and how if we plant and water it that it will sprout and grow and swell in your heart. This scripture changed my life by letting me know by having faith in Jesus Christ and through prayer and study I too can know. As I have had that witness for myself, you too can know.

How I live my faith

Before my mission living my faith included holding a calling as a ward missionary. At 18 had the chance to work side by side with our local full time Elders. Working with them is so rewarding to see those who have problems with work, family, or maybe an addiction. To see them make a 180 in their life and redirect them to their Heavenly Father. These Elders taught a lesson of how the Gospel of Jesus Christ eases the sick and the heavy laden and offers relief. For 2 years of my life I chose to sever other’s in Phoenix, Arizona. I’ve seen since individuals and families receive so many blessings by living the gospel.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Harrison Beck
I've chosen to serve a mission because Jesus Christ has blessed me so much with the knowledge of the gospel. My family because of how we have lived our lives has come closer together when other families would normally separate we've felt the love of the Savior in forgiving other's or repenting and asking forgiveness when we've hurt one another. This one factor I want others to have the Rock of Jesus Christ in their lives. That's why I’ve personally gone out for two years to share the gift I've given and it's an honor to give it to someone else. Show more Show less
