Hi I'm Aaron

I have graduated college, am self-employed, and I am still"growing up" as my family grows. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have 7 kids and my favorite hobby is spending time with my wife and kids. I enjoy having daddy day outs once a month with each of my kids and what we call our "Monthly Theme Night". Weekly dates with my wife are my highlights of the week! I am also enjoying learning to lake fish and I enjoy playing basketball with my brothers or catching a Husker game with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon home and had the opportunity to serve a mission. Since then, I have lived away from Utah and have learned to appreciate what the gospel can do for me, particularly as I now have a family. We have 4 wonderful young children, but we feel it is a challenge to raise them. Parenting is hard work, but the church has really helped us. I appreciate the direction we receive from the Lord through His servants to help know how to best live life in this troubled world. In the summer of 2005, my wife and I had one son who lived for only a week. The gospel of Jesus Christ has helped heal our hearts. We have the comfort and knowledge that we will see our son again and he will be a part of our family.

How I live my faith

One of my favorite scriptures is found in the Bible, St. John 7:17 which tells us that the only way to know if a doctrine is of man or of God is to live it. I have found this principle to be constant. As I keep the commandments, I am blessed and gain the witness that it is the direction God wants me to go. I have the opportunity to work with the missionaries in our area. I get to meet some of the people who are learning about the Church as well as those who recently join. I work with some of the leaders in the different congregations in the area that are introducing people to the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is awesome to see the light shine in people's eyes when they realize that Christ can and does bring hope back into all of our lives as we learn of Him, accept His teachings, and keep his commandments.
