Hi I'm Laura

I'm from Calfornia. I love the outdoors and music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from California and currently live in Utah. I am the second oldest out of eight kids. I studied sociology, I enjoy playing the piano, photography, bargain shopping, movies, and being with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I love my Savior, Jesus Christ and I am so grateful for his sacrifice for each one of us. It is because of Him that I am able to constantly improve and change for the better. I am not perfect but I do have the perfect example. Because of the church and the gospel principles I have gained a greater understanding of why I am here and where I am going. Even through my trials I know the Lord loves me and will always help me if I reach out to Him. Because of the gospel I am happy and have a positive outlook on life. I know the Lord has a plan for each one of us. He knows us personally and we are His children. We need to trust in Him. In this church the teachings of Jesus Christ in fullness are taught. I have had a personal witness through the Spirit confirm Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God and that he translated the Book of Mormon with divine guidance because our loving Heavenly wants us all to have it. The Book of Mormon contains all the answers we need in these days when there is so much confusion. The Holy Spirit confirms the truth of every word in it. I love this gospel I have seen how it changes lives.

How I live my faith

Its through the day to day things, like prayer and scripture study, listening to the spirit, and serving others. I feel that living our faith starts with our thoughts and those thoughts influence our words and actions and our desires. I also love missionary work and served a full-time mission in the Utah Salt Lake City mission. I also love working with the youth.
