Hi I'm Heather

I am a mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. Most importantly, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom of 5 awesome kids. I love music and sports. There is nothing like dancing around silly and singing with my kids. I love to play games as a family. I love to read, mostly suspense. Being involved in my kids' lives makes all the hard days worth the sacrifice. I love to exercise and have started running in local races. My family is the most important thing in my life, other than my Savior Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. From a young age I had some amazing spiritual experiences that solidified my faith in my Savior, Jesus Christ. I knew that it was only through Him that we can make it through the tough times in this life. I am grateful for the standards that our church has for us. In this day and age where virtue, honesty, and integrity seem to be optional, I am grateful to attend a church where everyone is striving to be all of these things. I am grateful for a prophet on this earth who guides and directs us. I know that the Book of Mormon and the Bible are the Word of God, put here to help us and teach us. We have many great examples in the scriptures of men and women who endured and lived righteously. I hope to measure up when I meet God in the next life and that I have been a faithful servant of Him. I truly don't know where I would be in my life without the guidance and direction I receive. There are so many conflicting messages in the world today, that I am grateful to have the solid, un-changing message of the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life.

How I live my faith

I love being member of this great gospel. I serve in a number of ways at church, each fulfilling in its own way. My husband serves as a member of the Bishopric as well. I am a teacher in the Relief Society(our women's organization), play the piano for Relief Society and play the organ for our Sacrament meeting. My kids are involved in cub scouts and Activity Days (which is the program for girls ages 8-11). I am trying to teach my children to be honest and to stand up for what is right. I hope they are gaining of testimony of this church through my example and that they have a desire to draw closer to our Savior in all they do.
