Hi I'm Sonia...

I'm a Wife, a Mom, a Venezuelan woman, a Community Health Worker and... I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Mormon! I'm a believer in Christ like my savior, He move my world every day to try to be a better person. I'm centered in my family, I love them. I'm a mother of 3 children, one son (18) and two daughters (14 & 12). The most of my extended family live in Venezuela. We are the pioneers in our family, the only Mormons. I meet my husband in internet and I was sealed with him and the kids in July/2010. Was the most wonderful and spiritual experience in all my life. I work as community health worker, helping moms and their babies to have access to the resources in their community. I really enjoy my life...

Why I am a Mormon

Because I found the happiness.... I'm a Mormon because I raised like Catholic and I was looking for the true for years and years, since I was 13 years old and read the Bible completely; the Holly Spirit pushed me to start searching and I found it in the Church of Jesuschrist of the Latter Days Saints, simple like that, I know that this is the true Church of Jesus on the earth. I'm a Mormon because I'm a daughter of God, my Heavenly Father loves me and, I want to be with Him some day. I'm a Mormon because I have the opportunity to be with my family forever. I'm a Mormon because I know that Jesuschrist is my Savior and Redeemer; He died for me, with his atonement, He gave me the hope with the opportunity to if I repent of my sins and I keep my covenants with Him, I will return to God's presence. I'm a Mormon because I know that God did not broke the communication with men, we have a True Prophet on earth actually, the President Thomas S. Monson. I'm a Mormon because I'm receiving personal revelation about all this things and I have a testimony about this true.

How I live my faith

My faith is so important, I try to serve God everyday. By following the example of my Savior I have found joy when I can serve in the church, in my daily life and in my home. Now the perspective that I have about the families changed completely, so I care of my family and try to guide my kids as an eternal mom.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Because We know the the families can be together for ever, and that knowledge give us the impulse to try to be better persons for them. Our families provide a setting for much of the growth we experience in life. In our families we love, serve, teach, and learn from each other. We share our joys and our sorrows. Family ties may bring us difficult challenges, but they also give us strength and some of our greatest happiness. We believe that the family is the fundamental unit of society and the main place where children develop virtue. We believe that God has placed families at the center of his plan for people's happiness. Show more Show less
