Hi I'm Tiffany

I am a recent convert, a single mother, a daughter of our Heavenly Father...and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

My name is Tiffany and I have a beautiful 5 year old daughter! I joined the church about a year ago! I am currently working in the childcare field taking care of up to 16 infants each day!!

Why I am a Mormon

Before I joined the church, and even as a young child I often wondered, "why am I here". I always knew that something was missing in my life, I just couldn't quite figure it out. I had a friend that I worked with who was a member of the church, I thought it was weird that she was a mormon...I mean she seem so cool! I asked her about the church and she said she went to a church that was just young single adults! That caught my attention! :) I asked if I could go with her and she said yes. But shortly after that I got a new job and lost contact with her. A few weeks passed and out of nowhere I got the strongest urge to go to church... a Mormon church! I just had to go! I found a meeting house online and showed up to the singles ward! I LOVED it there! I loved the people and the way I felt and the message that I was hearing! It was all so great! I started taking missionary lessons right away! I had a really rough weekend and I just decided that I wasn't interested in being a Mormon anymore. I wanted to party and "have fun" and do what I wanted. I was going to tell the missionaries to leave me alone at my next lesson, after the wards "Book of Mormon" class. While I was sitting in the class, I started listening to what the teacher was talking about. I don't remember what she was saying, but all of a sudden all the horrible bad feelings I had been having all weekend just left me and they were replaced with feelings of comfort and peace and that everything was going to be okay. It was powerful enough to make me cry. At that moment I absolutley knew that I was in the right place. That I had a Heavenly Father that knew me and loved me and that I was being brought into His true church! I am a Mormon because of all the happiness, joy, and peace that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings into my life. The close relationship that I have with my Heavenly Father is the most beautiful thing in the universe. I love knowing where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going!

How I live my faith

My daughter and I read the scriptures and pray together everyday! Each monday I prepare a family home evening lesson and activity for my little family to do. I attend church every Sunday- I love the way that I feel when I am there! I do my best to always try and follow Heavenly Fathers commandments and encourage my daughter to do the same. I try to look out for oppertunities to help others and try to do things to add a little sunshine into others lives.
