Hi I'm Amy

I'm married to a wonderful man. I have 4 great children, who I am blessed to homeschool and I 'm a Mormon.

About Me

Not only do I love being a wife and mother but I enjoy me time as well. I like to travel and see new places. I'm a beach person. I love adventure. I've been skydiving, scubadiving and caving! I love to digitally scrapbook my memories. I have two degrees, a bachelors in exercise science and an associates as a Physical Therapist Assistant. I enjoy reading and am always trying to improve in some aspect. I love making character cakes for my kids. All in all you could say my life is pretty fun and happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 21. The missionaires knocked on my door one day. Having a sales background I thought I should at least listen to what they had to say. Within the next hour they had answered all my questions without me even asking, such as " Why don't we have prophets to guide us today like they did in the bible?" They told me we do. I was so excited, because i had felt God must not love us as much as the people in olden times if we didn't have a prophet too! They also taught me how to feel the spirit which I didn't understand before. It was truly amazing and still is to this day. I am a mormon because I believe the Lord loves us and that I can return to live with him again through his restored gospel. I don't have to wonder if what I am being taught is the truth because I have been taught through the church about the spirit that testifies to me of it's truthfulness.

How I live my faith

I read my scriptures and pray daily. I read and teach my children about Christ and his teachings in our home. I love the visiting teaching program where I visit with other women from church on a monthly basis and we instruct one another in gospel truths and lift and build each other up. My husband and I attend church regularly which strengthens and uplifts us. This keeps me close to my Savior and helps me avoid tempations in this life.

Are Mormons Christians?

Amy
Yes, Christ is my Savior. I have a testimony of him and his love for me. I know that HIS church has been restored and is upon the earth. I know the Book of Mormon is ANOTHER testament of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
