Hi I'm Sterling

I served in the Marines. I am a husband, and a father of a handicapped child. I am currently in pharmacy school, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and father of three lively teenagers and a new baby girl. My oldest child, my only son, has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I previously served in the U.S. Marine Corps, worked in industrial electrical construction for about eight years, and I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Growing up I played football and enjoyed the outdoors. Now I enjoy spending time with my family and riding bikes with my daughters.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I am a Mormon, I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and my Redeemer. The gospel truths taught within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have been a tremendous blessing and source of great joy in my life. The counsel I receive from the leaders of the church is truly inspired and brings me closer to my Savior. I know that he has called prophets today as in the days of the Bible, and has established His Kingdom once again. Living a Christ centered life as a Mormon helps me to share these truths and blessings with my family and to secure a future united with them beyond this life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith first and foremost as a husband to my wife and father of my children. As the priesthood leader in my home I am blessed with many opportunities to counsel with my wife and to teach and bless my children. My family is the source of the greatest joy I have ever experienced in my life. In my ward I currently serve in the Young Men's Presidency and Deacon's Quorum Advisor. Every week I have the opportunity to counsel with the Deacon's Quorum Presidency and to share with them my knowledge and experience about the gospel and life. These are the best young men I know.
