Hi I'm Tyler Reeve

I am a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

I am currently serving an LDS Mission, am serving in the Germany Berlin Mission. I have a family of four and am also a student at one of the Universities here in Utah. Originally I am from Utah. I like to go Mountain Biking and I love snowboarding, I love to hang out with my friends!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, and as I got older I came to know of the truth of the church on my own. I did this by reading from the Book of Mormon and praying to know of the truths therein. I have then gained a testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith and have come to know that the Plan of Salvation is of God. I like the joy that this Gospel brings to me, and to my family. I like how it makes it possible for me to have a good life while still living the way that God would have me live.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example and a friend to all people. I live my faith by going out to the world to share the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth. I try to show charity to all I can that cross my path. I go to Church every week and read from the Scriptures. I do not drink, smoke, or party. I do not use foul language, I pay my tithing, and I strive to follow God's commandments.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Tyler Reeve
No, we help all people. We are asked to develop Charity, which is the Pure Love of Christ. When we serve others, through these charitable services, we are really serving our Lord and God. The Church has provided massive humanitarian efforts throughout the world, for example during the Tsunami's that hit Indonesia, and the Earthquakes in Japan the Church has helped to provide relief efforts, food, and shelter. We believe in serving ALL of God's children. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Tyler Reeve
Family is the central unit in God's plan for us. We are God's spirit children, we are His family. In this Earth, we came to here to obtain a body, and to have joy. In 2 Nephi 2:25 it states: Adam fell that men might be, and men are that they might have joy. If Adam and Eve had not fallen, then we would have not been able to have family. With the Plan of Salavation we have the ability to spend Eternity with our Family and have Eternal Life. After this life, we will be reunited with our families, and are capable of having endless joy! What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Tyler Reeve
The Mormon lifestyle is just like any other lifestyle. We like to get together, play video games, listen to music have BBQs, live, laugh, play sports, etc. True, we don't smoke or drink alcohol, but we still have just as much fun. One of the most important aspect of the Mormons is the family. We believe that family is an eternal unit of God, it is the place where we go when we need to take shelter from the world, and where we can go to feel loved and supported, and receive necessary help. We view all people as part of an eternal family, and strive to help any of those who need our help. That is why Mormons try and offer there service, go on full time missions, and go to church every Sunday. We do that, which will bring us true joy in life! Show more Show less
