Hi I'm Darly

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student in college, studying biomedical engineering with a minor in math. The fourth out of five kids. I'm Haitian and speak some Haitian Creole! Siblings are my best friends. I enjoy playing board games... when I'm winning ;).

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I've tested the fruits of the prophet Joseph Smith by reading the Book of Mormon. I gained a testimony of its truthfulness. The more I live the gospel of Jesus Christ the more peace, love, and joy I have in my life. I'm a Mormon, not because it's easy but because it's worth it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith my teaching the young women ages 12-18 in my ward and working with the young single adults ages 18-30 in my church.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes. We believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior. It is through his infinite atonement that we are able to regain the presence of our Heavenly Father. He is the center of our faith and at the head of our Church. :) Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

When asked by friends of other faith are we saved by grace. I answer confidently and gratefully yes. We are saved by grace after all we can do. Often times the world would have us quantify what all we can do means for some it truly is a desire to do what is right. I believe wholeheartedly that God can and will work through us with that desire. What God wants of us more than anything is our hearts broken and honest, and it is then that grace is sufficient for us. Grace is sufficient when we are willing to change because doing the things He wants us to do allows our hearts to be open and receptive to the great work he has done for us. Show more Show less
