Hi I'm Daniel

I'm a musician, or at least I like to think I am. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an instrumental music education major. I play the cello. I come from one of those big Mormon families and I'm excited to start a family of my own. I enjoy theatre and unicycling. Life is sweet and it just keeps getting sweeter.

Why I am a Mormon

In the Book of Mormon it invites all people everywhere to read it, to ponder it in their hearts, and to pray to Heavenly Father to know if it is true. I've followed that pattern with the Book of Mormon and with all the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I have received a witness of it's truthfulness time and time again. It is true and I would be lying to deny it. I feel pretty confident that anyone who is willing to take these steps will come to the same conclusion. That's a good enough reason for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by keeping the commandments and trying my hardest to live the teachings of Jesus Christ. I'm currently serving a mission in Australia, and I'm learning that two years simply isn't enough. I hope to find ways to serve my whole life. God has said that "when you are in the service of your fellow beings, you are only in the service of your God." I try to live my faith by following the example of the Savior in serving others.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Missionaries are simply guides in helping people find out what is true for themselves. They'll talk about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how it has benefitted their lives. They'll encourage you to find out for yourself. It'll be sweet. Show more Show less
