Hi I'm Brandon

I am a student at ASU, the son of loving parents, the brother of a Marine and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am from Phoenix Arizona. i am 21 years old and I am currently studying at Arizona State University. On my spare time I enjoy being around my friends and family. I served as a full-time volunteer missionary for 2 years in Sydney Australia.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church but I am a convert to the Gospel. Although I have been around the Church since I was young, I had to find out for myself if this was something I wanted to be a part of. Growing up around the church, with a mother who was active in the church, allowed me to watch and learn from her and others. I always knew that the church was where I belonged but I never really understood what I believed in. I didn’t always focus when I was at church, but I always felt that it was the right place to be. It was only a few years ago that I gained a knowledge for myself of the teachings of the church. When I made the decision to serve a 2 year mission for the church, I knew that I needed to increase my knowledge of the gospel, so I began to study. I started by just reading scriptures when I had the time. It then turned into reading them every night. I attend institute at Arizona State University everyday of the week, just these simple things allowed me to learn so much more, but I was because it was me making the choice to do it. I wanted to learn. I had never read the book of Mormon for the first 18 years of my life, so I challenged myself to read the Book of Mormon before I left for my mission. I accomplished that goal a few days before I left for Australia! I then prayed to God to know if what I was doing was right. Since then, and even before then, I have had many experiences that let me know the church is true and this is where I belong. Being a Mormon is no longer just my religion or church for me, it is my life!

How I live my faith

I live my faith my being an example for my friends. Everyday I look for opportunities to share the Gospel to my friends and family. Even though i am not perfect I do my best to follow the example of Jesus Christ.
