Hi I'm Emanuel F. Zevallos

I Entered this world as a catholic. Age 26, I began looking for truth. Here is my story and my profile. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

"Christ did not have an identity crises. He knew where he came from, he learned who he was by degrees in his lifetime, and he knew where he was going. When your that LIBERATED, then you can finally serve" - Anonymous My name is Emanuel Zevallos, as mentioned above, and I'm a singer for a a band called VEREN where I play music with my sister. She is a huge inspiration in my life, and my best friend. Im also the Founder and CEO of Interact Live, a production company that provides a show that helps bands and their fans get to know eachother on a more personal basis. I'm someone who continues to look for happiness in the right places, and love to be around great company. Hopefully, one day, we can meet and talk about as many things as you want. Great conversations over time can help create the character that you are truly manifesting inside of yourself already. I hope you have come to this site with an open mind, sound heart, and humble spirit to receive more things. If there is anything that I can do to assist, it would be my honor to do so.

Why I am a Mormon

I was not planning to be a Mormon.I was looking to be a better Christian in the catholic church. To be honest, I was tired of looking at principles, and not receiving answers like the saints of old. When I found truth through revelation, I would do anything to blend and become one with it. If you want to read my winding spiritual journey, look below for my story of how I came to find the Mormon Church. I spent about 3 hours working on my testimony that got published on a website called www.mormonblog.com The article is called "The Seed of Two Members". I hope my story resonates with you, and that you leave my words knowing that we are all different in our path towards God. However, I do testify that everyone on this earth will have to know who Joseph Smith is at one point, and also find out how Jesus the Christ fits in our lives in a perfect and Godly way. He is the Light and the Truth. If you trust Him already, or learning to, then ask missionaries of our Church in how you can add to your faith already. Their message will resonate with your spirit, and you will begin your spiritual process! I'm truly excited for your journey!

How I live my faith

I live my faith a day at a time. Its all about receiving new eternal principles and truths and applying them the best you can everyday. I'm currently endowed in the temple. After you have been a member for a while, and with much spiritual preparation, you can enter into the House of the Lord. The endowment is where you can learn more about your purpose on this earth, and it is an increase of Godly knowledge and power that will help us in this life and the hereafter. I'm currently serving as a gospel doctrine teacher and enjoying every second of it.The greatest feeling is teaching the children of Our Heavenly Father. One of the blessings I have felt involves knowing how much God feels about mankind. As I study and pray about the lesson, I feel this overwhelming feeling of love, and inspiration begins to assist me in my preparation. This Gospel is alot of fun when your serving people in church and outside the church, and knowing that your on the right path. That knowledge alone is priceless, and has given me self-worth to help others find their self-worth. If everyone knew who they really where, this world can change.

What does Mormonism teach regarding baptism?

Emanuel F. Zevallos
I came from the Catholic faith, and studied the last words of Christ. However, I realized that in the Book of Mormon, there was great emphasis on the mode of baptism. If God doesn't change, then he would be sharing the same words to everyone in the world. Doesn't he love the whole world? Perhaps he only loved Israel? That is definitely not the case, and if you look at his ministry, you would come to the conclusion that he is not a partial God. He is defined as "love" as one of his most loyal disciples categorized Him. He epitomized and is a physical and spiritual manifestation of that word. What was the first thing that the Lord did before he started his ministry? Even though he was clean, he chose a someone who had authority from heaven to baptize. John the Baptist awaited his arrival, and Jesus wanted to set the example. He was baptized (baptizo: greek for immersion), and set the mode and searched the authority in order to show everyone to qualify to enter into the kingdom. John the Baptist was the only Legal Administrator on the affairs of the kingdom.  " And Jesus, when he was baptized, went straightway (immersed) out of the water:and , lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him, (Matt 3:16) Jesus wanted his whole family (the world) to come back to Heavenly Father and became his goal till the end of his ministry. "Go ye therfore, and teach all nation (the gentiles), baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" (Matt 28:19). These are all scriptures that the world knows, the Book of Mormon confirms and is another witness of this great entrance to the kingdom. "Wherefore , do the things which I have told you i have seen that your Lord and your Redeemer (he saw Him got baptized) should do; for, for this cause have they been shown unto me, that ye might know the gate by which ye should enter. For the gate by which ye should enter is repentance and baptism by water; and then cometh a remission of your sins by fire and by the Holy Ghost." (2 Nephi 31:17) Since the beginning of time, we are asked to enter this gate. Mormonism is a continuation of hearing the Lord speak to his people again. We believe the heavens are open, and the Lord continues to guide his people back to his Father's presence. Our example is Christ, and we implore everyone to follow the greatest and most intelligent servant into the waters under one having the priesthood to perform Heavenly Ordinances on earth.
