Hi I'm Stephanie

I am married to my best friend. I am a mother of 7. I LOVE my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been living my "Happily Ever After" for almost twenty-one years with my wonderful husband, and I am the mother of seven amazing children. I finished my master's degree two years ago, and I love to learn. In the last year I have discovered that I love camping and snowshoeing, and I have developed a passion for hiking.I love to learn from others' strengths. My favorite place to be is with my family -- we read together, play games together, cook together, work together, and go camping together. I love my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS Church. My parents are very good people, and they taught me and my siblings about the gospel of Jesus Christ. They lived what they professed to believe. During my teenage years I became rebellious for a year or two, but it didn't make me happy. I had no peace during that time. I re-committed myself to live the teachings of the gospel, and my life is full of peace and joy because of it. I am happier than I have ever been in my life. When the world offers challenges and heartache, I know where to turn for comfort.I love the truth, and I find truth in the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I attend church each week, and I work with the youth. We plan activities for them, and we work hard to strengthen them in their families. As leaders we aren't here to take over the family's job. We are here to support families in their efforts to raise good, moral, generous, kind, and virtuous young men and women. I visit teach three wonderful women every month. One has cancer and is very independent, but she appreciates a phone visit. Another is on oxygen and has been quite ill, and she loves a face to face visit. The third is highly independent and does well with a very quick visit just to touch base. I am so grateful for these opportunities to serve. On a weekly basis we have Family Home Evening - where our family spends time together, learns together, and plays together. On a daily basis we have dinner as a family, read the scriptures together, pray together, and spend time together. As a family we try to visit the widows in our area, serve in the community, visit the nursing home, and watch for the needs of those who may just need a phone call or a note. We simply try to live the way the Savior did and pray that we can be an instrument in God's hands to make the world a better place.
