Hi I'm Cindy

I'm a musician, work full-time, married to the love of my life, served a mission in Texas, lives in AZ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Southern California. I have two younger brothers and a younger sister. I started playing musical instruments when I was eight years old and music has been in my life ever since. I graduated from Ricks College, served a mission in the wonderful Texas San Antonio Mission - served in Austin, San Marcos, and Kerrville. My husband and I have been married for eight years and are currently living in AZ. I work full-time for an insurance company. We are currently trying to start our family - been dealing with infertility for our entire marriage. We currently are serving in Primary and love it.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. I had a testimony since I was young. I was one of those people that went to church because I wanted to learn the gospel - not just to socialize with friends. Going to a church school only strengthened my testimony. I wanted to share my testimony so I served a mission. Then got married and life continued. I've had my trials, tests of my faith, but i've always come to learn that our Heavenly Father is always there for us - if we just believe in Him and His Son. it's not always easy - but the Lord has promised that He has prepared a way for all of us to keep His commandments. Having scriptures to help lead and guide us. Having living prophets who testify of Christ and of what we should be doing while here on earth. Being sealed to my husband for time and eternity. All these things and more is what I enjoy being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example to others. Right now my husband and I have the opportunity to teach children about the Gospel. These years are formative years for children and we're trying to help them love going to church and want to gain a testimony of their own. In the past I've taught women ages 18 and over. I've used my musical skills to play the piano, organ and flute during our worship services.
