Hi I'm Mitchel

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 23 and have a part time job and trying to get into school. I am going into Movie Production and Acting because it's what I love to do. I was raised in a family of 9 boys, and I of course have two outstanding parents.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a Mormon. My parents were and still are very strong in the Mormon Faith, and i owe so much to their examples and teachings. But I do not remain a Mormon because of them. I have found that the way of life this Faith teaches brings true happiness that I could not find anywhere else. The principles and teachings that I've learned as a mormon have continued to change my life in so many ways. I am truly happy. But those reasons alone are nothing compared to how I feel so strongly that this is God's truth. I have asked God many times to know if this is His restored gospel. The feelings that entered my heart are indescribable and would not do justice to try to explain them here. That feeling I received and continue to feel has carried me through life thus far in ways I can't explain. I have come to know God and his Son, my Savior, Jesus Christ so much, and continue to come closer to them. I know They live and love each of us.

How I live my faith

I strive to focus on those within my community who may be struggling or who may just need a friend. I go out with others and visit specific people that may need our love.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Mitchel
Our bodies are not ours, but His. He has asked us to keep them clean and pure in many ways. The Word of Wisdom helps us do that. It is a standard we go by to try and avoid things that could harm our bodies; things like alcohol and tobacco. But not only things we eat or drink, but tattoos, excessive piercing, etc. I believe so strongly that He knows what is truly best for us, so even though I may not completely understand why, I put my trust in Him and follow His word.
