Hi I'm Rachel

I just moved with my husband and two children from Utah to Georgia. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, and have lived in Utah all my life. My husband and I were married in the Salt Lake Temple in 2006, and we have two darling children. In December, we moved across the United States to Georgia so that my husband could attend chiropractic school here. I stay at home and raise my children, and I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

I know Jesus Christ suffered and atoned for my sins. I know He died for me, and I know that He wants me to live again forever. Through the Prophet Joseph Smith, our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ provided a way for us to receive the ordinances we need in order to live with them again. This gospel is true. We are led by a prophet, President Thomas S. Monson, who receives inspiration for us from Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ for our own day and age. The Book of Mormon is true and is another testament of Jesus Christ. I have read and prayed about it to know of its truth. I know that I am a daughter of Heavenly Father and that He loves me. I know Jesus Christ is my brother and He knows me and loves me. This knowledge makes me happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith simply, I think. I read scriptures every night with my family, we participate in Family Home Evenings, and attend church activities and meetings. Beyond that, though, I know that every person is a child of God, so I try to treat them as such and be an example. I hope that my face and actions show that I know the gospel is true.
