Hi I'm Chris

I'm a father, a financial analyst, a college football fanatic, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of four boys. I have been blessed with a wonderful wife and three beautiful children. Nothing makes me happier than spending time with my family. I love college football season and waking up on Saturday mornings and watching College Gameday. I like old cars, music, gadgets, and hitting the little white ball once in a blue moon.

Why I am a Mormon

Quite simply, I am a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon is a divine book and I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I was raised by wonderful parents and blessed with amazing brothers and friends. Those friends encouraged me to attend Seminary my freshman year of high school where they were studying the Book of Mormon. As I studied and read the words of the prophets in the Book of Mormon I gained a better understanding of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father's plan for me. I found peace and perspective in the words as I read. I took the challenge presented by the Prophet Moroni at the end of the Book of Mormon and prayed to God to know if the Book of Mormon is God's word and if Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I received an answer to my prayers. I was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I was at college and I was blessed with the opportunity to serve a two year mission for the Church. The experiences and miracles that I witnessed on my mission further solidified the testimony that I had of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the healing power of the atonement of Christ. At this stage of my life, as a father and husband, I feel so blessed to be able to share the teachings of Jesus Christ and the plan of our Heavenly Father with my children. I feel blessed to know that I can live with my family for all eternity and not just for this earthly life. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live the teachings of Jesus Christ on a daily basis. I am not perfect and fall short each day, but that is the beauty of the atonement of Christ. This time on Earth is a time for us to grow and progress so that we can prepare to return to live with God. I try my best to do all that I can to serve and share my time and talents in any way that I can.
