Hi I'm Chad

I'm a son, a brother, a computer geek, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love the outdoors and to everything in them, either water rafting or mountian biking or hiking the nearest mountian. I also love computers and all forms of techonogly. I enjoy dancing and music, plus all kinds of animals. I have studied computer networking and plan to go into that very soon. All my friends are from different ethinc or religious backrounds and we all have a good time anyways. I'm currently on a mission in the Idaho Pocatello Mission. Last but not least I love my family.

Why I am a Mormon

The ability to be with my family forever is something that really stuck out. I know that families can be together forever and its only through Christ that it is possible. I’ve always been a member. However going through seminary and going to church, where it did build my faith, I was still always wondering. I had seen the lord in my life here and there but had usually shrugged it off as a matter of coincidence. Pray a little here and get your way, stop pray and things just get a little harder each day till you need to pray again, but I was never really converted. I did this for a matter of 8+ years then I decided to find out for my self. I was working at the local supermarket when a coworker asked me what religion I was. I casually answered and he replied “how do you know?”. Truth is I didn’t. I was just going through the motions and when he said that it really struck home. I really didn’t know. When my shift was done I went straight home and rather than turning on the video games I knelt and prayed. I read a lot the Book of Mormon that night and well into the morning, and then prayed some more. My answer came, so quietly but yet so powerfully. A huge warm feeling came over me and a reassuring voice told me that the Book of Mormon was true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet. I had never felt better, I had come to know that the Book of Mormon was true and that I can know for myself. I have never found myself wondering after that.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly up holding the princples of the gospel, attending church and particating in classes, and always following the teachings of Christ.
