Hi I'm Daniel

I am an Aerospace Engineering student. I have a beautiful wife and 2 kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am studying Aerospace Engineering and will have my Master's degree in a few semesters. I have a beautiful wife and 2 amazing children, a son and a daughter. I enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy books, as well as spending time with my family. I also play the piano and trumpet. My favorite music to play is from the Baroque, Romantic, or Classical eras.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They taught me from an early age to follow the commandments and study the scriptures. For this reason, I decided to read the Book of Mormon and other scriptures to find out the truthfulness of them for myself. I read and prayed about them and received a witness of their truthfulness. Because of this, I was converted to Christ's restored Church on this earth. I have a strong testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I know that He suffered, died for us, and was resurrected so that we can all return to live with Him and our families after this life. He provided this infinite Atonement for us, and I know that the Book of Mormon and other scriptures are true and testify of His divinity. The Book of Mormon contains the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that it is true, and that the Prophet Joseph Smith translated it from golden plates that were written by prophets in the ancient American continent. This proves that Heavenly Father loves all of his children. He provided prophets and teachings for the people in Jerusalem and for the people in the Americas. I know that we have prophets that guide us today. They receive the words of God to teach us and guide us in these days. Our families can be together forever after this life is over. The Priesthood, or power to act in God's name and authority, is on the Earth again. With this power, we can be sealed together as families, bless and heal others, and perform ordinances such as baptism and giving the gift of the Holy Ghost the way these ordinances were administered when Christ walked the Earth.

How I live my faith

I currently teach Gospel Principles class at church. In this class, we study the scriptures and teachings of our modern prophets. The main focus of all of the lessons is the Savior Jesus Christ and how we can draw closer to him. I try to study the scriptures and pray on a daily basis to improve my relationship with my Father in Heaven. We hold weekly family home evenings so that we can teach our children the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
