Hi I'm Kammi

I'm a stay-at-home mom and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom. I have one little girl who just turned two. I've been married about three and a half years. I love being married and I love being a stay-at-home mom! I enjoy running, reading, scrapbooking and I love watching movies!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that was already members of the church. However, I have gone through my own conversion process. Heavenly Father has answered my prayers that this is his true church. He helped me put my life in line with the teachings of the church even though it was difficult and took a few years. Everytime I have prayed, read my scriptures, gone to church, or followed the prophet's voice God has re-affirmed to me that this is his true church. I feel the influence of the Holy Ghost daily and I feel eternally grateful that I am a member of Christ's church.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am enjoying working with the wonderful primary children! Most of what I do is "behind the scenes" but I love seeing their beautiful smiles and testimonies. In the past I have worked with the youth, adult women, and taught sunday school classes. I have loved every organization and I love serving in the church!

Why is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints called Mormons or Mormonism?

Kammi
We believe in a book of scripture called "The Book of Mormon". While the book was written by many prophets it was abridged by the prophet Mormon. The nickname came from our belief in that book. However the true name of the church is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints". Show more Show less
