Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon, CEO, Triathlete and Harley Rider.

About Me

I love most outdoor activities and some indoor. Here is a list of what I enjoy doing Motorcycles dirt and street, Snowmobiling, Snowboarding, water skiing, rafting, hiking, racquetball, wrestling, computers and spending time with my family. I love to exercise and participate in Triathlons.

Why I am a Mormon

My great, great grandfather joined the Church while living in Sweden. Growing up with the Gospel doesn’t mean you have an automatic testimony. I did have many wonderful opportunities to feel the spirit, be guided by faithful parents and taught by great leaders. I still had to gain a testimony of my own. There came a time in my life that I wanted to know. I decided to put what I had been taught to the test. I read The Book of Mormon from cover to cover and asked my Heavenly Father if it was true. I received a comforting feeling and knew that it was true. This moment and others that I have received from time to time throughout my life have given me strength through good and hard times. I do know that Jesus Christ is my Savior that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that The Book of Mormon is the word of God.

How I live my faith

The Church has given me many opportunities to serve. Services is the best way to draw closer to our Father in Heaven. Working with the Youth is always great they are the future and help keep me young at heart. Currently I help train leaders in our area which is a great blessing because it helps me study the Gospel and gives me opportunities to be taught by other leaders. I have also learned through serving in the Church that obedience is how we become more like our Savior Jesus Christ.

Are Mormons Christians?

Mormons are Christians. Through baptism we have taken upon ourselves the name of Jesus Christ our Savior. People get confused about our Christianity because we also believe that we have a loving Heavenly Father whose plan we are living, Jesus Christ is part of His plan. Our 1st Article of Faith Says “We believe in God the Eternal Father and in his Son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost.” Only through the Atonement of Jesus Christ can we return to live with Our Father in Heaven.
