Hi I'm Daniel

I grew up in Utah County, I lived in Germany as a child and as a missionary. I come from a divorced family. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a typical college student, I love hanging out with friends and watching movies, I love sports like basketball, football, soccer, paintball, snowboarding. My parents divorced when I was younger and it's been tough at times but I've learned a lot through it. I am studying behavioral science with a concentration of family science. I hope to take the experiences I have had with my parent's divorce and use it for good as a marriage and family counselor. I love working with people. I work at a youth at risk facility now and it's a ton of fun, difficult at times but fun. What else can I say I'm a goofball, but at the same time I love contemplating life. Life has so many awesome experiences to offer, I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

Let's see... Why am I a Mormon? I grew up in the church so I often felt that warm, comforting feeling that the church was true. But it wasn't until I decided to serve a mission that I really began to know that it was true. As I served people and began to preach the message that the missionaries teach, I strengthened my understanding of it. I also realized that I had never been happier and that this happiness came from the belief I had in God and his church. I knew that the only way to have true joy and happiness was to live the principles taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ's atonement. I am grateful for what he has done for us. I know that God lives along with his son Jesus Christ, whose influence is never far from us. God is always there to help us when we need it. We need only ask. I know that the LDS church is God's church on the earth and that it was restored through Joseph Smith. I know that God hears our prayers and answers them, even the smallest requests are heard. I know God loves each and everyone of us and I am so grateful for that knowledge.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by... well living my faith. I make decisions based on my faith. I ask myself, is this right? Am I doing the right thing? I attend church every Sunday as well as the other church activities. I also am assigned to teach in one of the weekly meetings, which is an assignment I absolutely love because I get to learn as I teach. I've found that I can learn just as much from the lesson as those who I'm teaching.
