Hi I'm Rachelle

I'm a wife, mother and grandmother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of two and a grandmother of 9. I work in real estate with my husband. I love to read, sew, do crafts and make jam, jellies, and preserve fruits and vegetables. I like spending time with my grandchildren and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am what is called a "convert". I have been a member since 1992. I was previously a member of other denominations. When I met my husband he was a member and introduced me to the Church. I believe in the teachings of this Church with all my heart. I have never been happier in all my life. I feel closer to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ than I ever thought possible. I know that Jesus Christ died for me personally and that through my faithfulness to the gospel I will one day be able to live with him again. I am grateful for the many blessing I have because of my decision to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Prophet, and the leaders of our Church. I read the scriptures and pray regularly so that I can have the Holy Spirit as my constant companion. I enjoy attending church meetings each Sunday. I presently have a position as the Family History Specialist. Through this position I serve others in helping them do genealogy work for their families. I find it very rewarding to help others.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Health and dietary guidelines to help us keep our bodies healthy and free of chemicals that could harm us or cause us to do things unbecoming of a child of God. We are Heavenly Fathers children and He wants us to stay clean so the Holy Spirit can be our constant companion and we can return to live with Heavenly Father one day. Show more Show less
