Hi I'm Erik

I am from Colorado and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love living in Colorado and being in the mountains. I enjoy skiing, hiking, camping, and hunting. I am a husban and a father.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Mormon church when I was 19 years old. My family was not religious when I was growing up, but I always believed in God. I started wondering if there was more to life and started praying to know what I should do. I received an answer to my prayers and was lead to ask a friend if I could attend church with her. At church I felt a peaceful feeling I had never felt before. I knew it was the right place for me to be. As I learned more about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ I felt a desire to follow Jesus Christ. Shortly thereafter I was baptized. It was the best decision I've ever made.

How I live my faith

I love the scriptures, both the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Reading the scriptures helps me to know more about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and their plan for us. As I learn more about the gospel it makes me want to be a better husband and father. It makes me want to do more for those around me. It makes me want to be a better person.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost is a member of the Godhead and is how our Heavenly Father communicates with us. The Holy Ghost gives us feelings of peace and joy. The Holy Ghost helps us to know what is true and right. Show more Show less
