Hi I'm Jackie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been a member my whole life. My dad grew up in the church, and my mom is a convert. Over the years i've definately grown to appreciate both sides of the family. My parents always told us to take what we liked about our parents and then improve on it, making each generation a little better. I like spending time with my family, watching movies, going camping, working, and being with friends. I love to read in the winter, and play outside in the summer. Life is always good when you're with people you enjoy.

Why I am a Mormon

This is a hard question for someone like me who grew up in the church, usually the answer is simply "well, i've always been one" but i've found over the years that everyone has a conversion story. It might not be the same as a converts story, but i know that i've had some hard times where i really questioned what i believed. The great thing is that i received the same firm witness from the Holy Ghost that anyone who truly desires to know is entitled to. We all have our struggles, and none of us are perfect, we must simply keep the faith, and when we feel ourselves slipping or having a hard time we go back to the basics. Pray and ask.

How I live my faith

I choose to live my faith in the things that i do. I have watched a lot of people in my life and i find that the best way to testify of Christ is with our actions. No one really cares about what you have to say if they don't respect the person that you are. So if i stay true to the things i've been taught since childhood, and reach out to others, it will be manifest to them far more than i could ever hope to achieve by my words alone.
