Hi I'm David

I am a restaurant supervisor and love to serve my fellow man. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am first, a child of God, who loves me. Second, I am a husband to my beautiful eternal companion of thirty years. I am a father to five the greatest people on earth, and a grandfather to thirteen beautiful and talented grandchildren. I am grateful that my family and I have been sealed in the Temple by one holding the authority to seal us for all time and eternity, that through our faith, we will not be bound by the limits of our mortal existence and will have the opportunity to be together as a family and be in the presence of our Father throughout all eternity. I am grateful that God has provided direction at this time in a confusing world. The gospel has been restored through a prophet and a prophet speaks to us in this day. I am grateful for the scriptures that testify of the Savior. I am grateful for the Spirit that testifies of truth of the Gospel. I have felt it, I know of the truth as it has borne witness to me of these things. You and I are literally brothers and sisters and I want you there with me throughout eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

After years of being influenced by other faiths and some years of open rebellion to God, I found true happiness in the Gospel of Jesus Christ as practiced by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After joining the church I was able to look back on my life and recognize Gods hand and His love in my life. The spirit has bourne witness of the truth of a loving Father in Heaven and His great plan for me.

How I live my faith

I strive to attend church each week and to fulfill my responsibilities there. I strive to serve my fellow man to the best of my abilities. I dedicate time and talents to building up of His Kingdom here on earth.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

We believe that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God. We look to his teachings as one having authority to speak as the voice from God. We revier him as prophet, seer and revalator. He is an instrument in Gods hands in restoring the Gospel. We honor him as a prophet. We do not worship him. Show more Show less
