Hi I'm Gustavo

I was born in Oakland California. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Gustavo and i am Mormon. I am attending college and an active member of the church. On my free time I like to read the scriptures and i am currently on D&C.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because of the testomony i hold. It is built on our heavenly fathers foundation. I was introduced to the church by glowing missionaries coming to our house to share with my parents the gospel for our salvation. I was a stubborn person but they persisted. Eventually it came time for me to know for my self, praying, reading the book of mormon and learning all I could on a deadline of 2 weeks. These weeks passed and I was still uncertain until I had a some words stuck in my mind "the leap of faith". I knew the church was true but I did not want to take the next step. To this day I am gaining a greater understanding on what I am able to do to help with our heavenly fathers work by reading the doctrines, being active and sharing His word. I bare my testomony in the name of our heavenly fathers begotten son, Jesus Christ, the Messiah. Amen.

How I live my faith

I am currently a priest in my ward. About to become my melchizedek priesthood. I am hoping to go on a mission when i am called but until then i am an active church member. By active church member i mean i go home teaching, go to church 99 percent of the time. Im cyrrently on a calling for an multi-cultural event on the 14 of January at our Stake Center.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Gustavo
A testomony is mostly a sort of a feeling/reason why you believe in the church. It could be from praying and getting your answer or by the good feeling you get from speaking to the missionaries. Show more Show less
