Hi I'm James

I play the cello, I'm a student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Arizona and also in South Carolina. I love music and I've been playing the cello for several years. One of my hobbies is eating, and I also enjoy basketball as well as cooking, camping, and relaxing. I have served a full-time mission in Missouri sharing the restored gospel of Jesus Christ with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because the teachings of the gospel have helped me and my family find true happiness in life. I was raised in a mormon family and I found out for myself that what I had learned and what I am still learning about the gospel is from God. I know that I am a mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is true.

How I live my faith

I have spent two years focused on sharing the restored gospel of Jesus Christ as a full-time missionary. Now I continue to live what I taught by living a Christlike life. I have the hope of eternal happiness and do my best day by day to get there.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

Proxy baptisms are performed in temples because we believe that the opportunity to be baptized should be available to even the individuals who have passed on before. Show more Show less
