Hi I'm Heather

I'm a high school teacher full time, a ballet teacher part time, and a wife and mother all the time! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school French teacher and a part-time ballet instructor. I am a mother to two wonderful kids and a wife of a loving husband. My husband was diagnosed with bipolar disorder about three years after we married, and because of this my husband and I have had to kind of switch "roles" whereas I am the provider and he the stay-at-home parent. It's not always easy or simple, but I do the best I can and rely heavily on the Gospel to get me through each day.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I was in my early twenties. The more I learned about the Church, the more I found answers to religious questions that had worried me and confounded me for years. The doctrine not only made the most sense to me, but it also touched my heart.

How I live my faith

In my church ward, I am currently a primary teacher for the Sunbeams (3 year olds). I also have the opportunity to visit teach several women each month. These callings give me a chance to serve others, and they have helped me form wonderful friendships over the years. I feel each calling I've had in the Church has really helped me to grow and learn.
