Hi I'm Rachel

I'm a cake decorator, I'm a wife, I'm a mother, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in the South, I love my country, and I am a mother of five. Most importantly, I love my Savior. Everything I do, everything I say, I hope reflects that love. I know I can be anything in the world that I want to be, but the most important thing I can be is a mother. Nothing gives me more joy than seeing my children learn and grow in the gospel, adhering the principles that I hold near and dear to my heart.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though some of my ancestors walked and talked with Joseph Smith and others traveled half way around the world to get to Utah, that's not why I am a Mormon. I'm a member of the church because I choose to be. I know this church is true and is lead by a prophet of God today. The restored gospel gives me peace and sanity in this insane world. My ancestors gave everything they had to be a member. I am their living testimony today.

How I live my faith

Nothing in this world gives me greater joy than being a mother. That's why I choose to have no outside job that would take me away from my family. I live my faith in hopes that my children will learn from my example. Besides, I have learned for myself that following the gospel brings a far greater happiness than anything the world could offer. When you are following the example and teachings of the Savior, you are joyful, happy, peaceful. I know that by keeping God's commandments, he will protect and guide me. It's the only way I can make it through this world and be with Him again.
