Hi I'm Curtis

I 'm a Husband, I'm a Father, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a member of the Church that converted to the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ 18 years ago. I was born in the Church but never sought a testimony until my early 20's. My particular career is very challenging yet rewarding. But even more rewarding is being married to the lady of my dreams. We were sealed in the Cardston Alberta Temple in 2002 and life has been a joyous ride ever since. We have had the priviledge bring 4 marvelous childern into our family that teach us someting new about ourselves each day.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was in my early 20's I met up with some tremendous challenges and needed wisdom in making some decisions that seemed would lead me to despair if I made the incorrect ones. It was then that I remembered the things that my own father had taught me regarding the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Church on the earth. I took it upon myself to ask my Heavenly Father in prayer regarding the Church and the wisdom I lacked , determined to follow whatever answer I recieved. He promptly testified to me of the truth of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and also directed my specifically concerning the challenge I was facing. Since that day I have tried to serve Christ with all my heart recognizing that I would still stumble along the way, but now I knew the path to complete and consistent happiness. One of the great things is that living a life dedicated to serving and following Christ has brought me unimaginable joy and peace. I see a world that almost seems consumed with fire yet my heart rests at peace in the knowledge of God's plan and the perfect love of His Son.

How I live my faith

In my community I try to show others my testimony by living by example. Due to my career, I often must deal with the underbelly of society and that negative influence can be trying nevertheless I find that if I am determined to find a way to serve the people that I am working with I end up seeing them as they really are; Children of their Heavenly Father. This makes it easier for me to only judge their actions and not jundge them as a person, as I believe the Saviour requires of me. I try to remember everyday that I am walking with Christ on my mortal journey and He has already walked the path alone so I can always trust in Him.
