Hi I'm David

I from the southern United States. I speak Mandarin, Chinese and I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a college graduate as of 2011. I love to snowboard, wakeboard, play tennis, golf, travel, and hang out. I love learning foreign languages and like to move to, or visit, places where I've never been.

Why I am a Mormon

I love reasons for things that work in this world to be explained in a short, clear, and sincere way. That is how I will explain my reasons for being a Mormon. I grew up in the church not having a testimony of my own until I was older. When I finally decided to do what the Lord says to do in His scriptures, such as in James 1:5 (ask and the Lord will tell), the Lord blessed me with an answer that this church is where the fullness of His gospel is, restored in its full glory. I followed the revelation received and have been blessed by God ever since. I can not be dissuaded from my testimony of the divinity of God, His son, and His prophets. We have a modern day prophet today, which is amazing, and his name is President Thomas S. Monson. The Lord endorses Him and through him leads and guides each one of us. Revelation exists today and can be received by all of us. This church is true and God loves ALL of His children on Earth, no one is excluded.

How I live my faith

I have served a full-time two year mission for the church in Taiwan. I loved and would not trade it for all the wealth in the world, literally. I am doing as much as I can to be able to increase my knowledge and faith so that I may one day become a proper resident and participant in any community I live in, so that I may serve and help my spirit brothers and sisters.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?
