Hi I'm Beth

I'm a stay at home mom and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I have been married 8 1/2 years and have three beautiful daughters and are expecting another one in April - maybe we'll get a boy this time. I love photography, baking, cooking, blogging, playing games, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon-LDS church and have been a member all of my life. When I was 8 years old I had the opportunity to choose to be baptized. What a special experience. When I met the man of my dreams 8 1/2 years ago I had the privilege of being sealed to him and our future children in the Seattle temple for Time and All Eternity. What a special blessing to know that my family will be able to be together forever because of those sacred covenants. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ, know that he is my Redeemer and sacrificed everything for me to be able to return to my Father in Heaven someday.

How I live my faith

In my ward I'm in charge of communications- which means I write and produce a ward newsletter on a monthly basis to keep members current on activities and information.

What is being a Mormon like?

Beth
For years, growing up I always heard that being a Mormon is so restrictive, you can't date until you're 16, you can't drink, you can't have premarital sex, etc. Can't, can't, can't is all I ever heard from those outside the church and when you use that word yes it sounds restrictive. However, the guidelines and standards of the church are ways to help me live a more full and pure life. To keep me safe and healthy. Our standards are not restrictions but rather things that have set me free. Free from the addictions of alcohol, free from the addictions of pornography, free to make my own choices and live a happy life. Show more Show less
