Hi I'm Morgan

I know 'Head, Shoulder, Knees, and Toes' in three languages. I am a wife. I am a pharmacy technician. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a twenty-something-year-old who recently graduated with my B.S. in health promotion! I have been happily married to my best friend and the man of my dreams for almost three years! I appreciate good music and love singing at the top of my lungs! I love to play games and spend time with my family anytime I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I truly know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the Lord's church on the earth today! I know that we have a loving Savior, Jesus Christ, and that he atoned for our sins so that we could return to live with our Heavenly Father. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God and that we have a living prophet on the earth today, President Thomas S. Monson. I believe in eternal families. I know that our loving Father in Heaven has provided a way for families to be together forever. In the temple, my family was sealed for time and all eternity. I love this gospel and know that it brings individuals and families true happiness.

How I live my faith

Right now I am a chorister in the primary. I help teach the children gospel principles through music and singing! I also have the opportunity to visit other women in the ward and try to provide service whenever I am able. I love my Savior and I try to be a good example and follow His commandments.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Everything that surrounds me bears witness of a living, loving Heavenly Father. I often think of a favorite child's hymn which says "Whenever I hear the song of a bird or look at the blue, blue sky, whenever I feel the rain on my face or the wind as it rushes by, whenever I touch a velvet rose or walk by a lilac tree...." Whenever I hear, touch, see, or feel what is around me, I know there is a God and that He has a plan for me. Show more Show less

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Mormon women are unique individuals just like all women in the world! Some are short, some are tall, some love chocolate, others like apples. We believe we are all sisters to each other and daughters of our Heavenly Father. We all have varied interests and hobbies but are united by our belief in this church! Many Mormon women are also wives and mothers. Some women who are able choose to stay at home with their children. Other women have very successful careers and others are able to have both! We believe the Lord created men and women as equal partners in marriage and in life! Men and women each have different roles and responsibilities in the family, but neither is more important or revered than the other. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Mormons are not required to serve a mission. Mormons CHOOSE to serve missions. All young men in the church are instructed to serve a two-year mission when they are 19 years old but each young man must choose to do so for himself. Many young women also serve missions as well as elderly couples who are able. Some men and women in the church may serve two or three missions in their lifetime! Mormons serve missions because they have a deep, sincere love for all of their brothers and sisters in the world and want to teach and share what they know to be true with everyone!
