Hi I'm Sariah

I'm a wife. I'm a mother of 10 (one is on a mission, and 3 are wonderful autistic boys). I'm a homeschool mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in New England. After I graduated from high school, I worked as a mother's helper for 7 months in The Netherlands. I think this helped prepare me to later become a mom. I went to school to become a cosmetologist. That training has sure come in handy with so many heads of hair that need to be cut! I am a homeschool mom. I have a wonderful husband who supports me. I have been fortunate to have wonderful teachers and therapists who have helped and continue to help me with my two younger autistic boys. My oldest is serving a mission, teaching others about Christ and His church. I have great kids and I love being a mom!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know it is Christ's church. I know that if we live according to His gospel, we can live with Him and our Heavenly Father again. I know the Book of Mormon is true because I have read it and prayed about it and have been given a witness through the Holy Ghost that it is true. I have felt our Heavenly Father's love and know that He wants me to return to Him. I love my family and know that, through the Priesthood power, I have been sealed to them. I can be married to my wonderful husband for Eternity. We can be a Forever Family.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live as Christ would have me live. I go to church every Sunday to learn and feel the Spirit of God. I organize the women in my congregation when we have need to provide service to one another. When there is sickness or other needs we help each other with meals, rides, and much more. I read scriptures and pray with my family. I have worked in the nursery on Sunday, taught lessons, led choir, sung in the choir, been a Cub Scout leader, and a leader for the teenaged girls. Each of these assignments have strengthened me and taught me.
