Hi I'm Casey

I love Music, Theater, & Musical Theater. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the chapter administrator for a regional theatre company and sing in and am on the board of directors for a professional choral group in Montana. However theatre and music have not always been so prevalent in my life. Growing up sports were what I focused on. Especially basketball. My dream was to play college ball. After my junior year of high school my family moved to Wyoming. I still played sports. I served a mission in Japan and after returning home started working out in hopes of walking on to a local college team. A friend of mine talked me into auditioning for the schools music program which I did and was offered a scholarship. I had to decide whether to drop my dream and go with music or gamble for a spot on the team and lose the scholarship. After much prayer and deliberation with myself I chose music. The next semester I was captivated by a young lady in my student ward. I found out that she was also in the music program. Three short months later we were married. Sealed together in the Cardston Alberta Temple. We have been making music together ever since. I gave up one dream for an even better one. Music and theatre will be with me the rest of my life while a small heart condition has limited my ability to play sports competitively.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because God is real. The truths I have learned from the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints make sense. I know that they come from God because time and time again as I have put these teachings to the test I have felt the influence of the Holy Spirit. It is undeniable. I know God is my Father, that Jesus Christ is His son and my savior, and that there will come a time when I will meet them both again in our Heavenly home.

How I live my faith

I love to go to church. I love the sense of community and the family atmosphere. I love to teach what I have learned about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to learn from others as they teach me. I have opportunities to work with young people, to teach them, and to glean from their enthusiasm and strength. In my profession and with my small business I strive to be honest and to treat others with respect and courtesy. I am active in my community through volunteering. Weather it be with School music programs or our community theater.
