Hi I'm Jeremy

I grew up in the heat of South Texas. I now live in the frigidity of Wisconsin. I'm a husband and father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of two boys with another on the way. I am a husband to my awesome wife of 8 years. I work for a healthcare software company doing large-scale implementations and I love it! I also enjoy running, mountain biking and working on projects around the house. But, most of all, I love spending time with my family at home, camping, going on walks, playing at the park, getting ice cream, dancing, or whatever else it is that we feel like doing at the moment.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I look into my boys' eyes everyday and I know that they need a dad who has faith and lives according to that faith. I have had countless spiritual experiences over my life that have helped me to know and understand this church and the things I am taught there.

How I live my faith

I work with the youth in our area for around 6 years now. I feel richly blessed to have been a part of so many great, uplifting activities over this time. However, I count it as my biggest blessing to call the youth I have interacted with over the years friends. I have had opportunities to see young men who are just becoming teenagers grow and mature and gain strong faith in their Savior. Nothing is more rewarding than that. Also, no matter how much I try to teach the youth it seems that I am learning ten times as much.

What is the Law of Chastity?

Jeremy
Simply stated it is that you do not have sexual relations with anyone other than with your spouse to whom you are legally and lawfully wedded. However, it goes a lot deeper than that. When you learn more about the eternal importance of families you gain a stronger understanding that keeping your mind and body virtuous is something that is not "old fashioned." It is vital to the eternal strength and success of you and your family. Show more Show less
