Hi I'm Tammy

I grew up in Kentucky and have lived in Utah for 8 years. I stop online credit card fraud daily. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 33 years old. I am from Kentucky, but have lived in Utah for the past 8 years. I work as a fraud analyst for Visa. I have been married for almost 5 years to an amazing man from Argentina. We met at church. I love to watch movies, read, play video games, blog, cuddle with my dog, and love Italian food. Oh, I also love diamonds and chocolate-a girl's best friends, lol.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up going to church, but never had a relationship with the Lord until I was 21. At that time, my family started attending an Assembly of God church and turned their lives around. I went to church with them one night and God "got a hold of my heart". I finally started having a real relationship with the Lord. I could not get enough of reading the Bible, or learning about my Savior. I knew there had to be more. Missionaries ended up coming to one of our services one night. I was intrigued by what I felt when I was around them. I am Mormon because I knew there was more to God than what I had been taught. I knew that there had to be modern day revelation, because why would God stop communicating with His children? I knew that there was an afterlife where we could be with our families forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always asking myself how I can help others and what I can learn from experiences I am having. I try to ask myself how the Lord would feel about my behavior or about the things I am doing. I also ask myself how I can make some else's burden lighter. I read the scriptures, I go to church. I try to uplift others. I pray with my husband. I try to glorify God in the way I live my life. I am not perfect, but the Savior is. I repent always.

Are Mormons Christians?

Mormons are definitely Christians. We follow Christ. We worship the Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ. We don't worship Joseph Smith. We don't worship our prophets. That is a HUGE misconception that the world has. We know that we are saved and forgiven of our sins through the atonement of Christ. Show more Show less
