Hi I'm Alexandra

I'm a Mom,a Photographer, a Runner and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time Mom a photographer and a runner, I am training to run my first half marathon in November, 2011. I adore my children and my husband and find joy regularly in being home with them. When I run, I use that time to de-stress, work out problems and clear my head. Doing this helps me to better handle the stresses of everyday life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have lived my life with the light of the gospel and without it. When I have the gospel in my life, there is peace, happiness, comfort and love. Without it, I have felt lost, cold, alone and as if I would always fail. I am a Mormon because I love the sense of unity and togetherness that it brings. I feel that my family is stronger because of it.

How I live my faith

I go to church, I teach my children who Jesus Christ is. I strive to live my life in a postive way so my children can see Christ in me. I work hard in my home so my children will feel safe, comfortable and feel that it is a refuge from the world. We have family home evening every week, where we take time to pray together, sing together and learn the Gospel of Jesus Christ together. I know that with the firm foundation of Love and the light of Christ my girls will be able to build their own strong relationship with Christ. I continually try to treat them and those I come in contact with with patience and kindness. I serve my neighbors when they are ill by cooking for them, cleaning for them or caring for their children. I feel that serving others I can bring myself closer to the Lord and give those I serve a feeling of Love, a glimpse of the Love that our Father in Heaven has for them.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Alexandra
We absolutely regard the Holy Bible as the word of God. It is a powerful and sacred record. It founded all of Christianity, it has a rich history, deep doctrine and powerful testimonies of Jesus Christ our Savior. Show more Show less
